It started out long before hazeldrops desired to understand the world and left her home village in the flatlands of the Swiss Mountains to venture out to quench that thirst.  Years of manifested and unexpected journeys followed with the growing urge to shine awareness to green & social alternatives of living in harmony with our environment.  Now hazeldrops contributes by creating & promoting earth & labor friendly fashion.

One of the many adventures was to ancient city Varanasi by the holy river Ganges in India.  It was there in the network of small pathways in midst of markets close by the golden temple of Shiva, where hazeldrops was drawn to a very small colorful shop of two brothers that offered genuine smiles and Indian tradition:  Vibrant Varanasi Silk...   The two brothers turned into a valuable source for unique vintage sarees they collect for hazeldrops.  In the meanwhile we support up to 11 families by passing on our sewing needs while paying fair-trade wages. 

Everytime you are purchasing from the hazeldrops eco fashion bazaar you are helping low income Indian families to survive, contribute to improve our environment and support local-global awareness knowing that hazeldrops donates 10% of the net profit to urgent non-profit causes.
